millions at mecca


this is the main mosque in Makkah, at one of its busiest times of the year.
the buildings on the left are the dozens and dozens of hotels.
this is just one angle of the mosque. more than half the mosque is not even visible from the spot where the picture was taken.
the picture is shaky as it was taken using one hand only, dangling from a 3 inch wide slot in the window.
