Nice picture :)

Try an angle where the background is solid and contrasts with the model's hair, fill the frame more with the model. Her looking away saved you from having red-eye since you used a flash, so be careful not to have the subject look directly in the camera when you are using the flash.

I'm at home recovering from another surgery I had on the 7th, so can't say when I'll start shooting again. (Everything is fine though)

faraz: i have done an entire shoot on this girl, using various angles and very varied lighting. so far, there have been no red-eye problems. we got some super gorgeous shots and this one is amongst my personal favourites.
the idea you have suggested describes "passport" photography more and i wasn't going for that "look".

it was more like canoeing rather than kayaking..less intense haha..did it in capri..was nice but i kept hitting my partner on the back hahaha
